The Pink Ribbon Foundation

SHOOT4PINK is a national fun-draising campaign brought to you by the team at the Pink Ribbon Foundation.

It has been proven that a healthy diet and exercise can reduce the onset of breast cancer by up to a third and for this reason the Pink Ribbon Foundation launched SHOOT4PINK - a fun way for people to raise money to fight breast cancer at any time of the year, by taking part in any sport that uses a ball.

We want to keep women fit and healthy and increase breast awareness. A good way to do this is to encourage early ‘good’ habits. These can be started at Primary School by encouraging a healthy diet, positive nutritional information and active play via sport. Throughout Secondary School and College/ University, the aim is to ensure that young girls continue to play sport and adopt a healthy lifestyle in order to encourage healthy habits into adulthood which will help to reduce the risk of future breast cancer.

SHOOT4PINK events, whilst being FUN, also remind people to stay active and will promote the message that a healthy lifestyle reduces the risk of cancer to both men and women.

We need YOUR help – we want individuals, teams, schools, colleges and businesses up and down the country to take action and sign up to host your very own SHOOT4PINK sporting activity – any team or individual sport with a ball can be played, by anyone of any age or ability – the fun is in the taking part! Think netball, basketball, tennis, golf, bowling, football, polo ……. the list is endless and we want women and men, young and old, to sign up and play in PINK.

Organise Your Own SHOOT4PINK Event

Here you’ll find everything you need to make your SHOOT4PINK event great! You can download, save and print all the fundraising tools you need for free: logos, posters, collection bucket wraps and much more to promote your PINK tournament / game / match. You can also shop online for pink ribbon t-shirts to give your event even more impact and what’s more, the Pink Ribbon Foundation will receive a donation for every item purchased – just head over to the SHOP now. We can also send you pink ribbons and collection boxes/buckets, please contact us if you require these.

You can raise money for the Pink Ribbon Foundation by donating your subs or entry fee to the Foundation and further money can be raised on the day by charging spectators to watch, selling refreshments or raffle tickets, bucket collections or even asking your workplace to match what you raise on the day …. Or get sponsored to shoot hoops, score goals or knock down pins... the possibilities are endless and if you need some help, just get in touch.
