Since 2015 the ‘pink ribbon’ logo has appeared on all King Cole knitting patterns and pattern books and generates a donation for the Pink Ribbon Foundation.
The decision to support our charity was made through the conception of a new pattern folder that King Cole had decided to change. They wanted to change the design and the colour and asked CEO Mike Wilson for his colour choice. He picked bright pink so it would stand out in the shop. When the sample arrived, the vivid colour reminded Mike of the pink ribbon logo and gave him the idea to support a breast cancer charity. After much research the Pink Ribbon Foundation was selected as their partner, and the rest as they say is history.Visit Website
Little Miss London
Little Miss London is a boutique candle label founded and created by Linda Botten-Brett in 2016. The idea was inspired by London’s fashionable neighbourhoods, exploring the diversity and ambience of the different areas England’s infamous capital city has to offer. To achieve this, they created candles with personalities relating to their named location along with a bespoke individual fragrance. Bringing to life, romantic Little Miss Notting Hill, the vivacious Little Miss Covent Garden, the ever-refined Little Miss Chelsea and the mysterious Little Miss Camden. Following the success of their initial four Little Misses, they then added the star of centre court, Little Miss Wimbledon, the indulgent Little Miss Mayfair, Little Miss Primrose Hill a pretty ray of sunshine and not forgetting Little Miss Shoreditch the IT girl, never short of attention!
In 2020 Lisa Maffia became part of the LML team and together they have decided to support a charity close to their hearts - more poignant for Lisa as her mum is living with terminal cancer. LML have added the Little Miss Pink Ribbon Candle to the existing range, launched in partnership with the Pink Ribbon Foundation.
