Our thanks go to everyone at Preston Muslim Girls High School for recently raising £706.01 for the Pink Ribbon Foundation to support those affected by breast cancer. They made spicy sweetcorn cups to sell to pupils and staff at the school, as well as also offering sweets, sherbet / lolly and doughnuts in exchange for a donation to the charity. They also made up a large jar of sweets for pupils and staff to guess the amount in the jar - with the person to guess the nearest or the correct amount winning the jar. A Year 7 pupil guessed the nearest amount and won the jar. Pink ribbons were also given to pupils who participated and made donations which was great for raising breast cancer awareness.
