Last week in Sarajevo, alongside our partners from across Europe, we were proud to be part of something truly meaningful.
Members of Think Pink Europe came together to sign the 'Sarajevo Declaration' - a shared commitment that sets out the values and guiding principles shaping how we work, collaborate, and create impact together.
This isn’t just a document. It’s a collective promise to align our actions around a common philosophy - one rooted in integrity, compassion, and purpose.
The Declaration is built on 10 key principles:
1. Equity in healthcare
2. Collaboration and knowledge sharing
3. Evidence-based action and innovation
4. A people-centred approach
5. Inclusivity and mutual respect
6. Integrity and ethical conduct
7. Responsible use of financial resources
8. Transparency and accountability
9. Respect for privacy
10. Long-term vision and sustainability
By signing this agreement, each participating country has committed to strengthening not only their own work, but the collective impact of our European network.
Because when we work together - sharing knowledge, raising standards, and supporting one another - we move closer to a future where every person affected by breast cancer, no matter where they live, has access to the care, support, and dignity they deserve.
