The life changing illness affects millions of women and families around the world. There are 55,000 yearly Breast Cancer cases, 11,500 yearly deaths, and 400 men that are diagnosed yearly. As a result of this, although no formal events have been decided on as of yet, my friends and I are contemplating the York Pretty Muddy 5K in June 2025 for Cancer Research UK as a sign of acknowledgement! Your donations just might be the solution to our indecision.

The Pink Ribbon Foundation helps fund projects and provide financial support to UK charities which need a little extra help to relieve the needs of people who have been affected by breast cancer. This donation will be made to The Pink Ribbon Foundation on behalf of the Goodricke College Netball Team, however donations from everyone are welcome!
Throughout October, Goodricke Netball will take part in a series of pink activities starting with a Pink Cowboy/Cowgirl Wednesday Social this Wednesday (9th October), followed by a charity netball match on Thursday 17th against Goodricke Men’s Football!
In line with this month, we would also encourage all sports teams to train in pink!
