During Breast Cancer Awareness Month customers were able to book a special London bus tour with a very pink theme in support of the Foundation. Celebrity supporters of the charity including Anthea Turner, Lizzie Cundy, Shaun Dooley, Linda Barker, Christian Vit, Aisleyne, Karen Bryson and Pandora also enjoyed special bus tours during the month and helped to raise crucial awareness of the initiative and the charity via social media.
Lisa Allen, Head of Corporate Partnerships, Events and PR at the Pink Ribbon Foundation said, “We thank the team at Brigit’s Bakery for all of their hard work and support this year and look forward to building on this partnership throughout 2019, as one of their chosen charities. Working together has been very well received both by their staff and of course by all of the customers who were kind enough to support the campaign by eating pink cakes and drinking tea. We couldn’t have asked for a more friendly and proactive partnership than that with Brigit’s and we look forward to working with them again. Their donation, support and kindness is greatly appreciated.”

Martin Fisher – Charity Quiz
Our thanks go to Martin Fisher for recently organising a very successful charity quiz. With a partner working at Mencap and having had first hand experience of the devastating affects of breast cancer, it was decided to support both Mencap and the work of the Pink Ribbon Foundation. Martin was supported by many friends who provided raffle prizes, help on the night and support by way of attendance – many friends travelling some distance to be there. Initially it was hoped that around 80 people would take part, raising around £500, but Martin was blown away by the enthusiasm of everyone involved, with around 100 people actually participating and an amazing £800 raised to be split between the two chosen charities. Raffle prizes included 2 nights B&B in Wales donated by the owners of the Half Moon Inn, three months free travel insurance donated by Arriva and even a boiler service donated by Mike Woods of Tibble Murray Woods Ltd. The Pink Ribbon Foundation are grateful to Martin and everyone involved with this fabulous event for their very generous support.

Having seen cancer affect the lives of members of their team and close family members, it was decided that they would support the Pink Ribbon Foundation, thus helping those with a breast cancer diagnosis. We are so appreciative of their fundraising efforts and in awe of their stamina and fitness in very difficult conditions. Thank you so much for your valued support!

A Girls Night In raises over £3,000
Our thanks go to Tracy Aldred and friends who organised a Girls Night In at the Belbroughton Club raising over £3,000 for the Pink Ribbon Foundation. Around 100 ladies wore PINK and attended the party, to enjoy pink themed food and drink as well as live entertainment, raffle and a DJ – even allowing the men to join in later in the evening, with a donation to the Foundation. We especially love the pink carpet and bra decorations and can see that a great time was had by all. The party was such a success that there are plans to make it annual event! Well done and thank you to everyone involved.
