  • Our very own Lisa Allen jumps 13,000ft to support those affected by breast cancer

Our very own Lisa Allen jumps 13,000ft to support those affected by breast cancer

After two failed attempts Lisa Allen, Head of Corporate Partnerships, PR and Events at the Pink Ribbon Foundation finally managed to complete her charity skydive on the 28 April in aid of the Foundation.  Having convinced a small team from corporate partner Valspar Paint UK, plus upcycler Lynne Lambourne and TV carpenter and presenter Wayne Perrey to join her (amazing powers of persuasion), the team bravely skydived 13,000ft to raise awareness and money for those affected by breast cancer.  The team have between them raised over £6,000 for the charity, which makes all the nerves worth it.  Our thanks go to all of the instructors at Hinton Sky Diving Centre who got everyone down safely and inspired such confidence and calm, making it a truly memorable experience for all the participants and to Kimberley at Skyline for all of the support and organising in the lead up to the day.  Biggest thanks must go to the wonderful people who jumped in aid of the Pink Ribbon Foundation, to those who cheered and supported on the day and to everyone who has made a donation to one of the fundraising pages to support their FUNdraising efforts!  You are all fabulous!

If you want to enjoy the same exhilarating feeling of a skydive – flying through the clouds from over 10,000ft at up to 120 mph – then why not jump for our charity?!  This incredible challenge will give you the biggest adrenaline rush you could ever imagine as you soar through the air knowing that you have helped raised invaluable funds for the Pink Ribbon Foundation.  The tandem jump is the most popular of all skydives, it requires just 30 minutes training before you are strapped to your fully qualified BPA instructor who does all the hard work so you can enjoy the ride!  For more information and to make a booking go to: or send us a email.

  • Watsonians Rugby Club

    Watsonians Rugby Club

Thank you to everyone at the Watsonians Rugby Club for raising an amazing £600 for the Pink Ribbon Foundation during their recent charity Ladies Lunch. The pre-match lunches are normally attended by men, so they decided to give the Ladies the chance to have some fun during the last home game of the season on the 2nd March. Many small local businesses attended the fundraising event so there were plenty of opportunities to browse and shop before sitting down to a delicious three course meal. There was also a raffle and some fun games held during the afternoon. We thank them for their wonderful support, which will make a difference to those affected by breast cancer.

    Yvonne and Fraser Thomas

Congratulations to Yvonne and Fraser Thomas from Stranraer, Scotland who braved the cold on New Years Day to raise money for the Pink Ribbon Foundation and a local breastfeeding group for babies. Their dip on the shore of Loch Ryan raised £340 to be split between the two charities. They were joined by 30 people, taking part in this annual event to raise money and awareness for different charities – all were cheered on by family and friends and the morning was made extra special for Yvonne and Fraser as they were supported by their first baby granddaughter, Eden.  Thank you for choosing to support the work of the Pink Ribbon Foundation!
