Triathlon success for MERLYN’s Four
#justareminder is a collaboration between shower enclosure company Merlyn Showering and the Pink Ribbon Foundation. A recent consumer survey carried out by Norstat clearly demonstrated how easy it is to forget to check breasts regularly, and despite the shower being one of the most logical places to do this 75% women forget. Of these, 65% said the pink ribbon symbol would act as an excellent reminder, so MERLYN are placing the evocative laser-cut pink ribbon on their enclosures and have pledged to raise £20,000 for the charity.
Four MERLYN employees undertook the punishing 25k Kilkenny Triathlon on Sunday 21st July to support the £20,000 target. The event began with sprint swim of 750m, a 19.4 km cycle ride and ended with a 5k run. It may have been gruelling, but it was smiles all round at the end, with almost £1,500 raised and more to follow. The gang of four have also signed up for two more Triathlons to support #justareminder
