#WalkaMileaDayinMay ? done ✔
Personally speaking, signing up to the May 31 day challenge has given me the kick up the bum that I needed to get out EVERY day and walk ... instead of focusing on the one mile per day, I've targeted myself at least 30 minutes of brisk walking per day - which for me is 2 miles a day.
With #wfh the norm for me, it can be very easy to get so caught up in work that I hardly move - NOT healthy. Signing up to #WalkaMileaDayinMay meant that I'd committed to the daily walk and HAD to do. I wasn't aiming for sponsorship (as I've done harder things to fundraise i.e. a #skydive ~ just saying ?) and was simply planning to donate my £31 to the Pink Ribbon Foundation, but I was able to raise £239, which is brilliant ?
In order to keep up the good habits formed in May, I am now signing up to the June walk. I'm not planning to ask friends / family for money, instead I'll simply donate £30 to the Pink Ribbon Foundation at the end of the month.
Join me and #WalkaMileaDayinJune ........
