Lisa's Story

As part of the Pink Ribbon Foundation team, I am always looking for ways to raise money and awareness to support those affected by breast cancer.  The #WalkaMileaDayinMay challenge came about as a direct result of the current pandemic - a new way to raise funds for the charity and encourage healthy habits.

As someone that works from home - all of the time - I can sometimes get so caught up in work, that I don't always practice what I preach and my daily walk / exercise can sometimes go undone.  So, I am signing up to this daily challenge to remind me to take time out and step outside.  A mile isn't really very far and I am sure that I will do more that this every day, but this will give me the kick up the bum that I need to get outside and get moving!
