"Last Christmas I had a breast cancer scare myself which resulted in an operation last February. Luckily for me everything was benign but it really brought home to me the fear of breast cancer.
Scary as it was, it also highlighted what a wonderful system we have in the NHS; from the initial, routine scan right through to my operation every member of the NHS at every stage was so wonderful, I’m so very grateful.
My drawing is in charcoal and pencil. It’s a 1920s style image with a modern twist of the smiley faces. I wanted to produce a positive and fun image of boobies!"
