  • Bickley Primary School – Pink & Blue

    Bickley Primary School

    For the  second year running the children of Bickley Primary School held a Pink & Blue non uniform day to raise awareness and funds for both the Pink Ribbon Foundation and the Blue Ribbon Foundation. Pupils made a £1 donation to wear Pink and Blue to school and raised further money by holding a cake sale and raffle after school (in the rain!) They raised £458 which was split equally between the two Foundations. Thank you!

  • Carl Keith Salons

    Carl Keith Salons

    The staff of Carl Keith Salons in Rainhill Liverpool raised £1,560 for the Pink Ribbon Foundation. They only panned two bake sales but these were so successful, and the team found it such fun way to raise money, that they held another four! They also held a weekly raffle for a free blow dry and box of Paul Mitchell products and then organised a final raffle to win£100 worth of vouchers to spend in their salon.

  • Pinkfest


    The very first Pinkfest rolled out at the moorings bar and kitchen in Sowerby Bridge near Halifax and the all-day music festival was a great success raising over £2,000.00 in total. The funds have been split with the Pink Ribbon Foundation receiving £1,200.00  and £810.00 being donated to Cancer Research UK. We would like to thank Naomi Sutcliffe who organised the event and who is shown in the photo wearing a pink top.

  • Hastings Direct

    Hastings Direct

    Staff from insurance broker Hastings Direct raised £1,200 in support of breast cancer when the company turned pink for a day. To help fundraise for the Pink Ribbon Foundation, staff wore pink, had pink manicures and participated in a massive cake bake and doughnut sale which alone raised £800.  This wonderful donation was on top of the money that is donated as a company via insurePink trave, car and home insurance policies.

  • Pink Ladies Annie and Bronwyn

    Pink Ladies Annie and Bronwyn

    Pink Ladies Annie and Bronwyn celebrated their 260 mile bike ride from Duncansbyhead Lighthouse in the north of Scotland to their home village of Boat of Garten. It took them five days to make the journey and they raised over £1,500 for the Pink Ribbon Foundation. They took the challenge to honour Annie’s sister who was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier in the year. We think they look great!

    Krupa was mad enough to jump out of a plane a few thousand feet up in the sky and she raised over £400 for the Pink Ribbon Foundation for her efforts – we thank her for her bravery!

    Mandy Miah

    Mandy Miah organised with her fellow students at Central College Nottingham a fundraising event as part of her OCR diploma in Administration. She raised a wonderful £500.55 for the Pink Ribbon Foundation – selling cakes and yummy treats!

  • Karen Toole Moonlight Swim

    Karen Toole Moonlight Swim

    To honour Karen Toole who sadly lost her battle with breast cancer the first Karen Toole Moonlight Swim took place in at Dursley Pool in Stroud at which time, thirty two people plunged into a twenty five metre pool, dyed pink for the occasion, to swim the equivalent of the channel (21 miles or 1344 lengths to be precise). In addition Dursley Pool’s annual charity Zumbathon took place at the same time and the team also kindly donated their fundraising efforts to the Pink Ribbon Foundation – a total of £1,700.60 was raised.
