£2,000 raised by Oxford Diecast
Oxford Diecast has produced a scale model of the Solstor Pink Lady Truck, Mercedes Actros. They went on sale in 2016 and all profits from the sale of these trucks is being donated to the Pink Ribbon Foundation, the partner charity of Solstor UK Ltd. There are still a few model trucks left, but Oxford Diecast have decided to make the full donation today. Adrienne Fuller, Oxfords International Product Manager, said “We are really pleased that we could be involved in the fundraising for such a deserving cause, this adds to our ‘pink’ range which includes other model trucks and fire engines.”
If you would like to get your hands on one of the few remaining Pink Lady trucks, just visit the Oxford Diecast website –

Newbury Building Society
Members of staff from Newbury Building Society recently presented the Pink Ribbon Foundation with a cheque totalling £1,215.34 at the Society’s Head Office in Newbury. The fundraising was undertaken in a number of ways, including Easter Events in branches, the Society pledging 50p for every vote cast in the Annual General Meeting, and another £2,700 was raised by seven brave staff members who took on a sponsored skydive last September. Emma Simms, Marketing Manager at Newbury Building Society says, “We are proud to have supported the Pink Ribbon Foundation and their work by raising funds for them over the last four years. Staff at the Society have enjoyed coming up with exciting ways to raise the money, and although we will be supporting 8 other charities as part of our new charity scheme in 2017, we will still be supporting the Foundation by hosting a SHOOT4PINK Netball Tournament this year.”Continue reading →

Charity Table Setting Competition, 2016
This year the Pink Ribbon Foundation was very proud to partner with the Professional Yachting Association (PYA) via their annual ‘Table Setting’ competition at the Monaco Yacht Show, which has resulted in an amazing donation of €4,357.00 to fight breast cancer.
Yachts in the Monaco Yacht Show or at anchor outside the show were able to participate for a chance to wow a panel of exclusive yachting industry judges with an elaborate table display showcasing their interior crew and galley’s unique creativity, style and flair. In accordance with the charity, the theme for this year’s competition was PINK with pink cocktails and canapés and references to the pink ribbon which were abundant in the displays.
A huge thank you to all crew who participated and put in such a tremendous effort to create some really stunning table settings, canapés and cocktails. It was a very close fought competition. Some categories were particularly difficult to decide upon, since every team brought so much to the competition. Thank you to Gourmet Deliveries and Home and Yacht Linens and Interiors for their support and generosity with the amazing prizesContinue reading →
British and Australian consulates support in China with a Pink Ribbon Day
The Community Liaison Officers “CLO’s” from the British (Novie Cawley) and Australian consulates (Stella Polly) in Guangzhou, China got together with an expat female community to support a Pink Ribbon Day. As many of them have been affected either directly or indirectly through family or friends with cancer, it was a cause very close to people’s hearts. There was a special presentation from a senior Doctor (Dr Kate Gaynor) who presented facts on how women of certain ages and cultures should get regular checks, which was vital and very informative for the group, who are now able to share this new knowledge with other women. The funds raised during the day were split between the two consulates and the Pink Ribbon Foundation benefited in the UK. We would like to thank everyone for their very kind support and for raising much needed awareness.Continue reading →
