The Right Tights is an online hosiery boutique selling Tights, Hold Ups, Stockings etc to ladies of all ages, all backgrounds and for all occasions.

When Emma French set up her business in October 2011, working with a breast cancer charity was top of her list.  Sadly, Emma lost her Mum to breast cancer in 2006, so she was keen to run her business while helping to raise money and also awareness of the disease.

So why did she choose the Pink Ribbon Foundation?

“I did a fair bit of research into various breast cancer charities and to be honest, once Lisa [Allen] contacted me, my decision was made. Lisa is definitely in the perfect role. She is so hands on and her approach so professional and yet very personal. As a new business working with the Pink Ribbon Foundation, I found the red tape which exists with some charities was not there. The Foundation simply wants people on board, who are passionate about raising money and awareness of this disease. Their approach is so straight forward and realistic. My mission is to grow my business and build the money I can donate to the Foundation, whilst helping to raise awareness of breast cancer and the charity. I have only ever spoken to Lisa by telephone and email, but I do feel like she is someone I really know well and look forward to meeting her in person! I look forward to a successful relationship with the Foundation”.

In 2012, The Right Tights donated a regular monthly amount to the Foundation.  Emma is a keen runner and in June 2012 she took part in a local 10k Challenge with all money raised going to the Pink Ribbon Foundation.  2013 promises to be better!  The Right Tights will continue to contribute a monthly amount to the Foundation and Emma has already decided this is the year to run a half marathon, so she plans to take part in two charity runs this year!!  Who knows, next year she may go for the marathon!

As a new business, The Right Tights have found it to be a great experience working with the Pink Ribbon Foundation.  Lisa’s enthusiasm and dedication is infectious and we really look forward to a successful 2013 and working with the Foundation for many years to come.
