Leave us a gift in your Will

Leaving a gift in your Will ensures that the Pink Ribbon Foundation is able to support anyone affected by breast cancer in future years. Obviously family and loved ones must be provided for, but after this, if it is possible to leave a percentage to the Pink Ribbon Foundation, then it is a wonderful and lasting way to help others.

Creating or amending your Will need not be complicated, we suggest that you start by speaking to your family and express your wishes to leave the Foundation a gift in your Will and then look at the simple advice HERE.

Want to offer your skills or services?

The Pink Ribbon Foundation has no salaried staff or rented offices and we are always looking for people who have a particular skill or business and who can donate their services free of charge to help us (e.g. photographers, designers).

Please GET IN TOUCH if you can help.

With your help we can make a world free from breast cancer.

What Sunetra thinks…

“It’s really important that we keep breast cancer awareness in our minds at all times.

We need to keep reminding people that this is going on every day in someone’s life”

Having served in Afghanistan, John Sanderson saw numerous people suffer horrendous finger injuries when they got their metallic jewellery caught or snagged. Other complaints included, expensive jewellery being damaged and that jewellery interfered with their grip while playing sports.

All of this, plus the previous success of silicone wristbands as charitable fundraisers, gave John’s family the idea to create ‘enduRings’ – stretchable silicone rings to show your enduring commitment to a loved one or a cause.

When it comes to sports, metallic rings aren’t match fit. They can result in injuries, affect your grip, become scratched or be stolen from lockers. An enduRing takes away the worry and enables you to show your support for the Pink Ribbon Foundation and is a great addition to your SHOOT4PINK fundraising ( enduRings will donate £1 from the sale of each pink enduRings to the Foundation to fight breast cancer. The pink ribbon logo will appear on all new knitting patterns and pattern books from 1 July 2015 and all reprints of existing knitting patterns and books. Every knitting pattern/book sold after this date even if it doesn’t show the pink ribbon logo, will generate a donation for the Pink Ribbon Foundation.

The decision to support this charity was made through the conception of a new pattern folder that King Cole had decided to change. Mark Blake the Sales & Marketing Manager wanted to change the design and the colour so he asked our CEO Mike Wilson for his colour choice. He picked bright pink so it would stand out in the shop. When the sample arrived the vivid colour reminded Mike of the pink ribbon logo and gave him the idea to support a breast cancer charity. He then researched various charities to support and the Pink Ribbon Foundation was selected.”
