To honour Karen Toole who sadly lost her battle with breast cancer the first Karen Toole Moonlight Swim took place in December 2012 at Dursley Pool in Stroud at which thirty two people plunged into a twenty five metre pool, dyed pink for the occasion , to swim the equivalent of the channel (21 miles or 1344 lengths to be precise). In addition Dursley Pool’s annual charity Zumbathon took place at the same time and the team there have kindly donated their fundraising efforts to the Pink Ribbon Foundation altogether totalling £1700.60!

For the fourth year the team at Zen Hair Design raised the superb sum of £1441.20 and it looks like they had a great time raising it.
Kelly Anza's Hair Design held Ultimate Girls' Night In on 23rd Octover 2012 and it was a huge success. Between Kelly's skydive and the party they raised £900 for The Pink Ribbon Foundation!

Bickley Primary School held a Pink 'n' Blue day in support of both the Pink Ribbon Foundation and the Blue Ribbon Foundation. Children had a non uniform day and dressed for school in pink and blue, donating £1 to the cause. After school they held a cake sale and raffle. Some very clever parents baked and donated yummy cakes for sale. Bickley Primary managed to raise £550 in total! That's £225 to each Foundation - well done!
Newbury Building Society partnered with the Pink Ribbon Foundation offering an exclusive limited edition savings product until the 17 October 2012. The ‘Pink Ribbon Saver’ was a limited edition ‘Easy Access’ savings account that could only be opened in one of the 10 Newbury Building Society branches across Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Hampshire. Newbury Building Society donated £5 for every Pink Ribbon Saver account opened to the Pink Ribbon Foundation. Branches also held special launch parties during October to promote the Pink Ribbon Saver account to raise money for the Pink Ribbon Foundation. On 19th August Grant Scott and his brother (with the support of Dad) cycled from Land's End to Inverary raising £1592.00 for the foundation.
Darren Bennet and his Woo’s Warriors raised over £6,000 by walking the 3 Peaks Challenge this June in memory of his wife Helen.
Dave & Steph, the Landlords of the Queens Head pub in Sutton Vallance, Maidstone raised over £850. They asked all the guests at their wedding to donate to the foundation rather than give presents.
Nikki Barber raised over £1,000 by having her head shaved in support of two friends who were diagnosed two weeks apart with breast cancer and are losing their hair through their treatment.
Karen and her lovely ladies raised £575 with their pink Zumbathon 2012.
Rebecca Prescott and her 5 colleagues completed the bike ride raising £615 which will be match funded by Sky and so the total will be - £1230.
Julia Wilmott and friends raised £701.50 at a Pink Aerobics / Pink Zumba event in Hyde Park. In memory of Julia's mum, Sylvia Forster, who passed away in 2003 from breast cancer.
Thank you to the organisers Less Bounce who have raised over £10,000 for The Pink Ribbon Foundation through the organisation of National Pink Aerobics.
Andrew Martin ran Birmingham half marathon (his first) and raised £433.
Swimmers at North Birmingham Dolphins Swimming & Lifesaving Club raised £5,300 at “Breast Stroke for Breast Cancer” charity swim.
Megan Hudspeth raised £35 at her primary school Cefn Fforest by spending the day painting and polishing nails.
Zebra Pens Team have produced a pink ribbon pen and did fund-raising at their trade show raising £1389.87.
Katherine raised £663 by having her head shaved in support of a friend who has lost hers during her treatment for breast cancer.
Mel Lacey on behalf of the Foundation receives a wonderful cheque from Steve Hyde on behalf of Sutton Bridge Golf Club.
She did it, Gill Lavers raises over £1,000 for the Foundation.
